Sending us a FXE


A FlexiAuction Event File (FXE) is a encrypted compressed file
containing all the vendueroll, invoices, transactions, participant customers, 
stock and definition for a particular auction.  This file can be created (exported) from any
datastore and imported into any other datastore. As the file is encrypted and
very small it can also be e-mailed or FTP'd via the internet

TO CREATE (EXPORT) AND SEND US A FXE FILE

Click EVENTS
Highlight the event
Right-click
Click "Export Event Data to FXE"
Select a location to save the FXE file to (e.g. memorystick, desktop, temp folder, etc.)
If not open already, start your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook)
Compose a new message
Add "johankok@flexiauction.com" or "wkotze@flexiauction.com" to the "TO" list.
Please give FULL instructions in message body as to the problem relating to the message.
Add as attachment the FXE file from above saved location (e.g. memorystick, desktop, temp folder, etc.)
Click "Send"


TO RECIEVE AND IMPORT A FXE FILE FROM US

If not open already, start your e-mail client (e.g. Outlook)
Retrieve your emails and open the email-message
This email will contain notes from us regarding the event
Save the FXE attachment to any location (e.g. memorystick, desktop, temp folder, etc.)
Start FlexiAuction
Click Events
If the event is already in your list you first need to remove it, 
  (as you cannot import an event if that event already exists in your datastore)
  To remove the event, highlight the event
  Right-click and select "Remove Event Data", then confirm all prompts.
Right-click
Click "Import Event Data to FXE"
Select a above location you saved the FXE attachment to (e.g. memorystick, desktop, temp folder, etc.)
